Our mission is to provide collectible coin products of fine quality and outstanding value.  Its inspiration stems from my experience collecting coins from loose change as a child.  I fondly remember my father returning form work each day with a handful of change through which I pored.  It was both the thrill of the hunt and the beauty of the coins that captured my imagination.  At the time, the wheat-back Lincoln pennies and Buffalo nickels were my holy grail!

Over the years, my attention was taken by other interests, such as school, music, girls, and cars.  No surprises there!  To this day, however, I enjoy pulling out my old Whitman display books and categorized coin cards.  They provide enjoyment on so many levels - among them art, history, precision manufacturing, and collecting

Years later, I joined a venerable direct marketer of gift and collectible products - the Danbury Mint.  One of its sister divisions, the Postal Commemorative Society, creates beautiful collector panels featuring historic coins and stamps.  I even had the priviliege of managing a very popular program that features the beautiful 50 State Quarters^®. This is when I came to understand the benefits of combining the joys of coin collecting with the convenience of a subscription-based service.  I always thought to myself that this would be the kind of business I'd like to start for myself.
